Conjure Scalias
Conjure Scalias
Called to an old temple by a mysterious Sage, you learn how to conjure ethereal energy into a physical form: Scalias. With them, you'll have to prevent the return of long forgotten angry spirits.
About the game
- Made in 96h for the GMTK Game Jam 2024, on the theme "Built to Scale" ⇲
- Idea, integration and design by Exylas
- Hi! I've used the extra time this year to try a lot of new things that I'm not at all familiar with, like dialogue boxes, story flags, player stats, and moving around on a map.
- I only code for fun very occasionally, so this was a huge learning experience for me ; but it does mean the game isn't very balanced or polished, and can be a bit confusing, sorry about that!
- However! There are still a small story, a good variety of different Scalias, a secret to unlock, and a final boss fight! I had a lot of fun coming up with and implementing the scaling mechanic I came up with for this year's theme, so I hope you'll get some too conjuring Scalias! =D
